Tom Melly founded Mirror Partners in 2024 to focus on small secondary transactions, a space where he has been actively investing since 2016.

Mirror seeks to be a helpful resource to sellers of all sizes and profiles and Tom frequently speaks with investors considering a secondary sale.

Tom has worked on hundreds of transactions and actively sources, underwrites and executes investments for Mirror. In addition to investment activities, Tom oversees overall firm strategy and management, leveraging his decade and a half experience in financial services.

Before Mirror, Tom was the first investment team hire at Kline Hill Partners where he specialized in the small deal secondary segment for limited partnership interests. During his eight-year tenure at the firm, Tom built an expansive sourcing network, led due diligence and deal execution and refined investment processes.

Prior to investing in secondaries, Tom worked at CRT Capital as a generalist in the Investment Banking division where he covered a breadth of industries and transaction structures. To begin his career, Tom worked at Parker Global Strategies, an alternative investment firm specializing in energy and foreign exchange fund-of-funds strategies.

Tom graduated with a B.A. in History from Trinity College in Hartford, CT.
